TOP 5 Philippine Beaches I've Been To

I absolutely LOVE the beach. Unfortunately, I've a tight schedule and can't exactly visit one so easily. That's why I make it a point that when I go to a beach, it can't be the normal ones. It has to be exotic and beautiful. So far, here are the best beaches I've been to.


HUNDRED ISLANDS (Pangasinan)
Travel time from Manila: 7hours

My favorite place on the island...where the shadow and the sun meet.
Here, I enjoyed the shade and the crystal water at the same time.

The island had a hill, and the view from the top was great.
I fell in love with the place instantly. This is my brother, sucking in
his stomach for the photoshoot. ^_^

They say there really are a hundred islands. We only got to explore one. I can't wait to go back and go island hopping.

VIRGIN ISLAND (Cebu)

Travel time: 45 min by plane, 3hrs bus, 30min ferry, 15min small boat

BUT SO WORTH IT!!

Blue sky, blue water, white sand....it was toooo perfect.
Too bad my brother ruined the shot. Haha.

What a way to relax....I could live here forever!

BANTAYAN ISLAND (Cebu)

ANAWANGIN (Zambales)
Travel time: 4hrs bus, 20min small boat

We started our boatride at sunrise...what a beautiful dawn!

Our first stop was Capones Island. This is the stairway that leads to the old Lighthouse.

The beach on Anawangin Island. The sand is white, but not very "powdery".

DOROKOY ISLAND (Bicol)
15hours bus, 5hrs jeep

Shot taken just before a bad lightning storm.
After this, we learned that it's a very bad thing to be in the water
during a lightning storm.

Crystal clear water...the fish were even swimming around my toes.

The only bad thing about the island...lots of dangerous jellyfish around.
These are HUGE!
