Once Upon a Blog

Ok... so I'm starting another blog...and that means.. NOTHING. I just woke up this morning and said.. "I think I'll start another blog".  So, here I am...yet again, attempting to share the random thoughts that pop in my chaotic mind, random observations I make about random people every day…random things in the very normal life of a very random girl.

But like everything else related to writing, the first step is always the hardest. The first step included naming the blog, and then finding the right template for it. Naming a blog sounds a lot like a cinch, right? Not exactly. I’ve come up with wimpy names like Hapi’s World, or This is My Life. I had a blog once, which was named Hapzster (I thought it was catchy, like Napster). But then the Jejemons came to life so I had no choice but to drop it. The idea “Chatty Hapi” came to me when I learned about the term “Chatty Cathy”. It’s what they call people who TALK TOO MUCH. I’m not Chatty Cathy..that I can tell you. But I AM very talkative when it comes to blogging and online chatting. Hence, the name.

Next step, TEMPLATE. I googled blogger templates and saw about a zillion, making it difficult to choose. I wanted one that was ME at a glance. There were a hundred categories to choose from. Anime, movies, love, art, travel photos…. Where was ME? Click here, click there, browse, preview….  Probably has to be something with music, something with books or journals, and something with… well…being Hapi. OR it could just be a girl, plopped down on the floor, wearing headphones, surrounded with journals and homework. Yup. Definitely me. It’s missing the coffee and chocolate I love so much.. but oh well. Maybe that template is still in the making.

Soooo…here I am now. Playing with words. Playing with thoughts. Totally sharing my life. Hope to keep this one for the rest of my life. After all, Chatty Hapi is who I am. No plans of shutting my mouth yet. :P
